Greenhouse gas emissions reporting has become an important part of company disclosure in recent decades. Much of this has been done through a variety of voluntary reporting frameworks, often referred to as an alphabet soup of acronyms. Recent years have seen a consolidation of frameworks and standards, and the emergence of mandatory climate-related reporting.
